Three Juveniles in Custody Over Austin Random Shootings
Three suspects are in custody after a weekend string of apparently random shootings in Austin, Texas, with at least 10 incidents and four people wounded but none killed. Two youths, ages 15 and 17, were arrested at a traffic stop and taken to juvenile detention; a third suspect was later captured by Manor Police after fleeing. Investigators say there is no known motive, the shootings targeted homes, apartments, and a firehouse, and the suspects allegedly stole at least four cars, with the 17-year-old also accused of stealing a gun.
