
Sam Neill Wraps Zelda Film Role Ahead of Death
Sam Neill completed his part in the live‑action Legend of Zelda film before his death from pneumonia at 78; filming wrapped in April and the movie is set for release next May. While his exact role hasn’t been disclosed, fans speculate he could portray the King of Hyrule. The project, directed by Wes Ball, stars Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda, and marks Nintendo’s first big-screen Zelda adaptation. Neill also shot scenes for Godzilla x Kong: Supernova and The Last Resort.
