
Santa Clara braces for USA-Bosnia World Cup clash with major road closures
Ahead of the U.S. men’s World Cup Round of 32 match against Bosnia‑Herzegovina at Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara will close Tasman Avenue segments from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again 1 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next day, with traffic detoured via Great America Parkway, Lafayette Street, and Calle De Luna/Calle Del Sol; the San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, with detours for walkers and bikers. Levi’s Stadium will temporarily be renamed the San Francisco Bay Area Stadium to comply with FIFA rules. Tickets for the match are pricey, listed from around $2,600 to as high as $12,000–$15,000.
