"Deadly Superfog Causes Multiple Crashes on I-10 in New Orleans East"

One person has died and eight others were injured in a multi-car crash on I-10 near Irish Bayou. The accident occurred due to low visibility caused by fog and smoke from a marsh fire burning near Bayou Sauvage. Three separate crashes occurred on the eastbound lane, with one crash involving five cars resulting in the fatality. All lanes on I-10 have now reopened.
