Low-Visibility Morning Triggers Ground Stop at Phoenix Sky Harbor
A ground stop was issued at Phoenix Sky Harbor due to low visibility, grounding departures from Denver, Los Angeles, Dallas and Houston and causing about 15-minute delays on flights out of the airport; roughly 90 Sky Harbor flights were delayed or canceled by 10 a.m., and the FAA lifted the advisory around 10 a.m. Travelers are advised to check their flight status for any remaining delays.
