Skywalker Grill Tops Lucas Museum, Ranch-Inspired Dining Debuts

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles announced Skywalker Grill, its flagship rooftop restaurant inspired by George Lucas’s Skywalker Ranch. The full‑service eatery will offer California-sourced classics with sweeping city views, open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, with reservations available to the public. Designed by Rockwell Group and operated by Rhubarb Events & Hospitality Collection, the midcentury-modern space will feature a menu including Dungeness crab cake, lobster corn dog, crispy chicken Milanese, honey-miso glazed salmon and a Skywalker Ranch Wagyu burger, plus house-made pastas and seasonal salads. The museum opens Sept. 22 and will host exhibitions such as Star Wars in Motion.

George Lucas-Curated Debut Exhibitions Unveiled by Lucas Museum

Los Angeles’s Lucas Museum of Narrative Art has announced its inaugural exhibitions curated by George Lucas, opening Sept. 22, 2026. The program spans Americana and the human condition across painting, photography, murals, illustration, comics, and cinema, featuring works by Benton, Rockwell, Parks, Lange, Rivera, and items from the Lucas Archives, alongside pieces from Lucas’s 40,000‑piece collection. The 11-acre Exposition Park campus, designed by Ma Yansong, will house 300,000 square feet of galleries, theaters, a library, and more.
