T-Mobile to retire 1,100 legacy plans, moving customers to newer options with price bumps expected
T-Mobile plans to retire more than 1,100 legacy mobile plans and automatically upgrade affected customers to the current lineup, likely bringing higher prices or reduced usage limits. The changes, aimed at simplifying the plan slate, affect long-standing plans dating back 10–15 years (including Simple Choice, T-Mobile One, One Plus, Magenta, and grandfathered Sprint plans) and will be rolled out over the coming weeks with customers notified in advance.
