
OT Finish Ends Flyers Run as Hurricanes Sweep
Carolina completed a playoff sweep by beating Philadelphia 3-2 in overtime in Game 4, with Taylor Hall scoring the series winner after Tyson Foerster opened the scoring and Alex Bump tied the game. Flyers rookies Oliver Bonk and Jett Luchanko debuted, but Philadelphia was outplayed for much of the game, suffering a second-period surge and a 23-9 shot edge for the Hurricanes. Dan Vladar made 37 saves on 40 shots while Frederik Andersen stopped 15 of 17; the Flyers went 0-for-3 on the power play as the season ends.
