Other scenic locations across the US offering promising views of the spectacle are Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, Lava Beds National Monument in California, Great Basin National Park in Nevada, Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah, as well as Natural Bridges National Monument and Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park in Arizona. San Antonio, located along the path of annularity, will also have ideal views for the April 8, 2024 solar eclipse.

"Texas Beach Offers Prime View for 2024 Total Solar Eclipse"

Padre Island National Seashore in Texas has been named as one of the best viewing locations for the upcoming solar eclipse on October 14, 2023, with the longest window of visibility in the US at 4 minutes and 52 seconds. However, the location has a 65% chance of being cloudy on that date. The eclipse will only be visible from eight states as it crosses the US, from Oregon to Texas, and most of the country will only be able to see a partial solar eclipse. San Antonio is one of the few cities where the ring of fire can potentially be seen.
