
Playdate maker refunds Trump-era tariffs after ruling they were illegal
Panic, the company behind the Playdate handheld, has started refunding tariffs it previously charged customers after courts found the Trump-era duties illegal; the refunds follow Panic receiving tariff refunds themselves and the co-founder saying returning the money was the right thing to do, a move contrasted with ongoing lawsuits involving other companies like Nintendo over tariff-related price increases.
