Quantum simulations hint at sending messages to the past without bending spacetime
MIT researchers and collaborators show, in theory, that information could be sent to the past via quantum simulations of post-selected closed timelike curves (P-CTCs); they find backward transmission could, under certain noisy-channel conditions, be more efficient than forward, with self-consistent loops helping avoid paradoxes.
