
Luxury airplane cabins stall on safety red tape, delaying premium-seat rollouts
New premium cabin designs with privacy walls and advanced tech are being slowed by stricter, multi-year certification processes, risking empty business-class suites at launch and a slower rollout even as demand for luxury travel grows; while some carriers push for standardization to speed approvals, the trend toward high-end cabins is unlikely to fade, it will just take longer to bring to market.
