Amazon Prime Video is restructuring its plans: basic Prime Video will be capped at 1080p, while 4K/UHD requires the new Ultra tier at $4.99 more per month. Ultra adds more offline downloads (up to 100), Dolby Atmos audio and Dolby Vision, and more concurrent streams (up to five). Basic members will gain Dolby Vision support and increase from three to four concurrent streams; true 4K remains bandwidth- or device-dependent for many users.

Reddit users continue their blackout protest against the platform's new pricing plan, which will force several popular third-party apps to shut down or pay up starting July 1. The Federal Housing Finance Agency has clarified that the new mortgage fees will not penalize borrowers with good credit scores and subsidize borrowers with bad credit scores. However, borrowers with higher credit scores may experience modest increases in fees, while those with lower credit scores may experience modest decreases. Some high credit score borrowers may see significant increases, according to Mortgage Loan Officer Al Bingham.
