Sony Brings AI Upscaling to Base PS5 via New QSSR Tech
Sony has introduced Quick Spectral Super Resolution (QSSR), a new AI upscaling technology for the standard PlayStation 5. The feature, developed through the Project Amethyst collaboration with AMD, aims to improve image detail and stability on the base console. It is available immediately via patches for 'Marvel's Wolverine' and 'Ghost of Yotei', with Sony stating it will be offered to all developers.
