Hyundai Recalls Over 225,000 Cars for Rearview Camera Defect
Hyundai is recalling over 200,000 vehicles in the U.S., including 2021-2022 Santa Fe and Elantra models, due to faulty rearview cameras that fail to display images, posing a safety risk. The issue stems from damaged solder joints in the camera's circuit board. Affected owners will be notified by January 2025 and can have their cameras replaced for free. This recall follows another involving Hyundai and Kia EVs due to a potential loss of driving power.
