Cineworld abandons sale plans, secures debt deal to emerge from bankruptcy.

Cineworld's shares fell by over 30% after Regal Cinemas' owner announced it would terminate efforts to sell its US, UK, and Irish businesses. Cineworld, the world's second-largest movie theater chain, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September due to the pandemic's impact.
