
SB LIX protester convicted of resisting arrest after flag display
A Super Bowl LIX halftime performer, Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, was found guilty of resisting an officer for fleeing after unfurling a flag reading “Sudan and Free Gaza.” He faces sentencing on June 1 with up to a $500 fine and six months in jail, plus a lifetime NFL ban from league events. Nantambu is also the alleged victim in a May 2025 shooting involving Antonio Brown.
