Queen Elizabeth II was never photographed while pregnant with her four children due to royal protocol and societal taboos at the time. It was considered indecent to publish photographs of pregnant women in the monarchy, so Buckingham Palace would announce that the Queen was pausing her royal duties without specifying the details until after the child was born. President Joe Biden's meeting with King Charles at Windsor Castle sparked speculation about a breach of royal protocol. Biden greeted Charles with a handshake and placed his hand on him while walking together. During the inspection of the Guard of Honor, Biden walked ahead of the sovereign. However, a Buckingham Palace source stated that Charles was "entirely comfortable" with Biden's actions, and it was deemed to be the correct protocol. The couple understands that events can be tiresome for a young child and their approach makes them more relatable to the public.

This game-changing moment could alter the royal family forever as they lightly make their way into political waters.
Prince William broke royal protocol by not bowing to Queen Camilla during the Coronation, potentially subconsciously siding with his late mother, Princess Diana, according to body language expert Judi James. William's two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, also opted not to bow or curtsy to Camilla.
