Morocco's ruling coalition fractures as election nears

Thailand's Opposition Takes Early Lead in Election Vote Count.

Preliminary vote count in Thailand's election shows an early lead for the progressive opposition party, Pheu Thai, followed by another opposition party, Move Forward. The ruling coalition parties backed by the military and establishment are trailing behind. However, even if the opposition wins, parliamentary rules written by the military after its 2014 coup could prevent them from forming a government without the backing of a majority of the lower and upper houses combined.
