CBS Crafts Development Room for Matt LeBlanc’s Flint Amid Expanded Scripted Slate

CBS has opened a development room for Flint, a Matt LeBlanc–led cop drama, as part of a broader long‑term development push that also advanced I Know Who You Are (forensic drama) and Hilda! In Lights (comedy), with a Fire Country–Sheriff Country medical spinoff in early development; all four projects originate from CBS Studios. If Flint moves forward, it would mark LeBlanc’s drama debut and bring him back to CBS, where he previously starred in Man with a Plan.

Matt LeBlanc Lands Lead in CBS Cop Drama Flint in Development

CBS is developing a new cop drama called Flint with Matt LeBlanc set to star as a burnt-out LAPD detective who, nearing retirement, is blindsided when the city extends his service by five years and, determined to get fired, ends up breaking the rules but proving to be a better cop. The project is written by Evan Katz and produced by CBS Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television; if greenlit, Flint would join CBS’s 2027–2028 schedule.
