Windrose Docks for Early Access, Braving Pirates, Plagues, and a Giant Flower Boss

Windrose, a co-op pirate survival game from Windrose Crew, is launching in Steam Early Access on April 14, 2026, with Pocketpair-backed publishing and an estimated 1.5–2.5 years to full release. Players form a crew, sail a frigate, and fight enemies including plague creatures and rival powers, culminating in a swashbuckling battle against a giant pink flower (the High Priestess). A Steam demo is available to try before launch.

Windrose charts a course to Steam Early Access this April

Windrose, the pirate survival title from Windrose Crew and Pocketpair, finally has a release date: Steam Early Access launches on April 14, 2026. The open-world game supports 1-4 players, features three biomes, ship-to-ship combat, and a sizeable early-access plan of roughly 1.5–2.5 years with about 50% more content by final release across around 30 islands and 90+ points of interest.
