An air quality alert remains in place through at least 6 p.m. Tuesday due to Canadian wildfire smoke lingering in the skies. Spotty showers and thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday ahead of cooler and drier air moving in for Wednesday. Temperatures will be pleasant on Wednesday with a drop in humidity, making it much more comfortable than the last week or so. The next chance of showers and thunder comes in late Friday into Saturday ahead of another cool front that will drop temperatures on Sunday.
