Weather Update: Storms and Heat Dominate Michigan and Houston, Sunny and Muggy Elsewhere

Severe weather with damaging winds and localized flooding occurred in southern portions of Michigan's Lower Peninsula, while the Upper Peninsula is now under the threat of severe weather with thunderstorms moving eastward. The strongest storms are expected near the Wisconsin border. Temperatures will be slightly cooler today, ranging around 80 degrees, but parts of northern central Michigan may reach the 90s with increasing humidity.
