Asteroids to Watch: Close Approaches and NASA's Scientists.

An estimated 200-foot asteroid, 2023 DZ2, is expected to pass between Earth and the Moon on March 25 at a speed of 17,403 miles per hour. The asteroid's near-Earth approach has no chance of hitting Earth, but it will give astronomers a close view of the object to better understand its orbit and size, which could be anywhere from 141-312 feet in diameter. The asteroid is a member of the Apollo family of asteroids and orbits the sun every 3.16 years.
