"Earth's Quasi-Moon: A Long-Term Visitor"

A newly discovered asteroid, named 2023 FW13, has been identified as a "quasi-moon" of Earth, orbiting the sun at around the same rate as our planet. This asteroid is the longest quasi-satellite of Earth known to date and has been orbiting the Earth since at least 100 BC, making it the most stable quasi-satellite of Earth ever found. These asteroids are in resonance with the Earth and are some of the least likely to hit our planet due to their resonant orbits.
