"Multiple Dashcams Capture Bright Fireball Streaking Across UK Skies"
TL;DR
Dashcam footage captures a fireball, believed to be a meteor, burning up in the skies above Nottinghamshire. The event was witnessed in Edwalton, Newstead, and on the A453, with one driver expressing amazement at the clear sighting. A meteor is described as space debris that burns up upon entering the Earth's atmosphere, creating a "shooting star," according to the Royal Museums Greenwich.
