Saturn's Rings Set to Vanish by 2025

Saturn's rings, the largest and brightest in our solar system, will temporarily disappear from view in 2025 due to the planet's tilt. While it was previously believed that the rings would take 300 million years to vanish, data from NASA's Cassini spacecraft suggests it will actually take 100 million years. The rings will be obscured from sight as Saturn orbits the Sun, with the next event occurring in 2038. Astronomers can expect to see the rings in full view again in 2032.
