Short-armed and Bulldog-faced: The Lesser-known Cousins of T. rex

Fossils of two previously unknown dinosaur species, considered "primitive cousins of T. rex," have been discovered in Morocco, shedding light on the prehistoric period before the asteroid impact that caused the extinction of dinosaurs. These dinosaurs had shorter arms and bulldog snouts compared to T. rex. The findings challenge the notion that dinosaurs were declining before the asteroid strike and provide insights into the diverse dinosaur fauna in Africa at the end of the Cretaceous period.
