Multiple Asteroids Approaching Earth Today, NASA Reveals

NASA has warned of a close encounter with an aircraft-sized asteroid, designated as Asteroid 2023 PQ, which is expected to make its closest approach to Earth today at a distance of 756,000 kilometers. Although not classified as a Potentially Hazardous Asteroid, the 110-feet wide asteroid could still cause some damage if it were to crash in populated areas. This comes after NASA's successful Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) last year, aimed at protecting Earth from potential asteroid impacts.
