NASA has released a new computer game called "Snap It! An Eclipse Photo Adventure" to educate children about solar eclipses ahead of the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8. The game, designed for kids aged seven and up, features an alien character taking photos of the sun during its trip to Earth and aims to teach players about how the moon blocks the sun's light during an eclipse. Players can create and download virtual postcards of their photos and learn about various objects that transit in front of the sun. The total solar eclipse on April 8 will pass over Mexico, the United States, and Canada, and viewers are advised to observe the sun safely using solar eclipse glasses and solar filters for cameras, telescopes, and binoculars.
