Rare T-Rex Skeleton Up for Auction in Switzerland.

The skeleton of a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex, named TRX-293 Trinity, is set to be auctioned in Zurich on April 18 and is expected to fetch between 5 million and 8 million Swiss francs. The 67-million-year-old T-Rex skeleton is only the third of its kind to be offered at auction and the first in Europe. The skeleton stands 3.9 meters high and measures 11.6 meters long. The rest of the name derives from the 293 bones in its skeleton. Discoveries of T-Rex fossils are extremely rare, and almost all of the other fossilized T-Rexes are housed in museums.
