Moon's Retreat Will End Total Solar Eclipses in 600 Million Years

Astrophysicist Avi Loeb says the Moon is slowly moving away from Earth—about one inch per year—so in roughly 600 million years, total solar eclipses will no longer occur as the Moon will no longer fully cover the Sun when viewed from Earth; a recent eclipse was visible in parts of Europe.
