The Odysseus Moon lander, owned by Intuitive Machines, made history as the first privately built and operated robot to complete a soft lunar touchdown, but it appears to have tipped over on landing. Despite this, the spacecraft is in good condition with plenty of power and communication with Earth. Controllers are working to retrieve pictures from the robot, and the scientific instruments are positioned to still allow for observations. The CEO of Intuitive Machines, Steve Altemus, stated that the robot may have caught a foot on the surface and then fell due to lateral motion at the moment of landing. The US space agency's satellite will search for Odysseus in the coming days.
