"SpaceX Delays Ax-3 Crew Splashdown Again"

SpaceX has announced another delay for the splashdown of Axiom Space's Ax-3 crew due to weather concerns, with the new target date set for no earlier than Tuesday, Feb. 6. The crew, consisting of Cmdr. Michael López-Alegría, pilot Walter Villadei, and mission specialists Alper Gezeravcı and Marcus Wandt, was originally scheduled to undock from the International Space Station on Saturday. The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, named Freedom, will undock from the ISS's Harmony module and splash down off the coast of Florida after a 13-hour commute back to Earth. Axiom Space, a private space company, has sent a total of three crewed missions to the ISS, with the Ax-3 mission bringing more than 30 experiments from other companies and universities to be tested.
