SpaceX is considering a new launch site for its Starship rocket in Cape Canaveral, Florida, as part of its plan to increase launch frequency for the Mars-bound rocket. The proposed site would take over the historic SLC-37 launchpad, originally used for the Saturn 1 and 1B rockets. SpaceX also plans to develop another Starship launchpad at its Starbase facility in Texas and convert disused oil rigs into launch platforms. The company is preparing for its third major Starship launch, aiming to send an uncrewed rocket from Texas to Hawaii in a 90-minute flight around Earth.
