A SpaceX rocket successfully launched Intuitive Machines' Nova-C lunar lander, also known as Odysseus, from Florida, marking the latest attempt to land an American spacecraft on the moon since the Apollo missions. The lander is expected to touch down near the Malapert A crater in the moon's south polar region next Thursday, carrying six science and technology instruments to conduct research and demonstrate technologies for future Artemis astronaut missions.
