Jupiter missions set for launch in French Guiana and Europe.

The European Space Agency's Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) mission, set to launch on April 13, 2023, will explore Jupiter's three largest icy moons: Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa. JUICE's suite of instruments will allow scientists to explore and characterize the moons, each of which is thought to feature large bodies of liquid water beneath their surfaces, creating potentially habitable environments for life. After arriving in French Guiana, JUICE is currently being processed for launch, with final functional tests and fueling scheduled for mid-March. Assuming an on-time launch and successful completion of all four gravity assists, JUICE will arrive at Jupiter in July 2031, performing its first flyby of an icy moon, Ganymede, shortly after entering Jupiter's sphere of influence.
