Luna 25 moon lander launch postponed to August by Russia.

Russia's Luna 25 moon lander mission has been delayed again and is now set to launch no earlier than August 2023. The spacecraft is currently undergoing final ground tests, including a simulation of the soft landing on the lunar surface. Luna 25 will be Russia's first lunar expedition since the fall of the Soviet Union and will target the lunar south polar region to study the composition and structure of the lunar surface. The European Space Agency's involvement in the mission was canceled following Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
