NASA Mars Mission Discovers Massive Boulders on Red Planet

NASA's Perseverance rover has been exploring boulder fields on top of the western fan in Jezero crater on Mars, which were likely carried there by water and may have originated from outside the crater. Studying the composition, shape, and size of these boulders can provide insight into Mars' fluvial history and potential past habitability, as well as information about areas beyond Perseverance's reach.
