NASA Volunteers to Enter 378-Day Simulated Mars Habitat

LEGO has developed a new STEM-themed building set in collaboration with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) based on the real Perseverance rover and Ingenuity helicopter, which are currently exploring Mars. The kit allows builders to explore key features of Perseverance and complete interactive challenges. JPL's Technology Affiliates Program works with industry to license intellectual property or gain access to JPL's engineers and scientists to solve technological problems, providing a streamlined way for JPL to do business with the private sector. The end result is that technologies developed for the space program can benefit people on Earth and help educate and excite the public about the space program.
