"Space Station Astronauts Capture Stunning Footage of Solar Eclipse"

Astronauts aboard the International Space Station captured intriguing photos and video of the solar eclipse as the Moon's shadow covered portions of Quebec, New Brunswick, and Maine. The Expedition 71 crew, orbiting 260 miles above the Earth, witnessed the path of totality and experienced the shadow moving across the Northeastern coast of the US and part of Canada. Other satellites also captured unique images of the eclipse, providing a rare perspective from space.
