"Northern Lights Expected to Illuminate Parts of U.S. and Canada This Week"

A solar flare on Sunday could cause auroras to be visible in parts of the US and Canada on Wednesday, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Space Weather Prediction Center. The aurora may be visible in the northern tier of the US, such as northern Michigan and Maine, on Wednesday night, and may also be seen as low as New York, Wisconsin, and Washington state. The lights may also be seen in Alaska and parts of Canada. The best chance of seeing the northern lights is to head to a place with low light pollution and clear skies.
