Astronomers Discover Universe's Largest Water Reservoir

Astronomers have discovered a massive water reservoir in the quasar APM 08279+5255, containing 140 trillion times the water found on Earth. This quasar, powered by a black hole 20 billion times the mass of the sun, produces conditions that allow for the formation of vast amounts of water vapor, surpassing the Milky Way's water content by 4,000 times. The discovery, made using advanced observatories, challenges existing cosmological models and offers new insights into the distribution of water in the early universe.
