Severe Floods in Spain Cause Chaos and Political Ripples
TL;DR
Severe flooding in Girona, Spain, has swept away around 30 cars in Cadaqués, though no casualties have been reported. The floods follow a deadly week in Spain, where over 200 people died, primarily in Valencia, due to intense rainfall exacerbated by climate change. Authorities have faced criticism for delayed emergency alerts. More heavy rain is expected, with warnings issued for the Alt Emporda area.
