
Birthday cake note labeled 'Wheelchair' prompts NJ restaurant apology
A Weehawken, New Jersey restaurant apologized after a birthday cake for a guest who uses a wheelchair had the plate labeled with the words 'Happy Birthday Wheelchair,' a notation the restaurant said was meant to indicate where the cake should be delivered and was inadvertently written on the dessert; the guest was upset, the restaurant issued an apology and said it would take steps to prevent a repeat.
