"Breakthrough Natural Supplement Eases Postpartum Blues"
A new natural supplement, developed at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), has been shown to significantly reduce postpartum blues and prevent the onset of postpartum depression in new mothers. The supplement, which targets the rise of the MAO-A protein in the brain after childbirth, was found to be effective in preventing postpartum blues in 66% of participants and reducing depression symptoms six months later. Set for release in the U.S. in April 2024 under the name Blues Away, the supplement represents a promising advancement in postpartum mental health care and is expected to be available globally pending regulatory approvals.
