Masterson Builds Lead in Kansas Governor Poll, Emerson-Nexstar Finds GOP Advantage
A new Emerson-Nexstar poll of 750 likely Kansas voters on Sept. 15–16 shows Republican Ty Masterson leading Democrat Cindy Holscher 50.8% to 43.5% in the race for Kansas governor, with a 3.6-point margin of error and 5.7% undecided voters. The survey also indicates the economy as Kansans’ top concern, and notes mixed favorability ratings for both candidates amid broader political dynamics in the state, including a competitive U.S. Senate contest.
