Georgia Museum Unveils 30-Foot Deinosuchus Skeleton Replica
The Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, Georgia now houses the world’s first complete, scientifically accurate mounted skeleton of Deinosuchus schwimmeri, a 30-foot Late Cretaceous crocodile relative. The life-size replica—cast from fossil remains and overseen in part by CSU paleontologist David Schwimmer—helps visitors grasp the scale and history of this giant predator and Georgia’s prehistoric landscape.
