
Single-cell atlas redefines myeloma archetypes and proliferative states, guiding prognosis and FCRL2-targeted therapy
Researchers built a population-scale single-cell atlas of 341 multiple myeloma patients, identifying five malignant transcriptional archetypes and a proliferative program tied to genomic features and clinical outcomes; validated in the CoMMpass cohort, the dataset enables dual-layer patient stratification and target nomination, notably highlighting FCRL2 as a plasma-cell–restricted target whose CAR-T cells show antigen-specific activity in vitro and survival benefit in vivo, informing precision therapy for plasma-cell malignancies.
