FBI raid uncovers two children living amid dead animals in squalid Northeast Philly home
Federal agents executed a search warrant in a Northeast Philadelphia home tied to a federal inquiry, uncovering two children living in unsanitary conditions among dozens of dead cats and at least one dead dog; a hazmat team responded to the strong odor, utilities were shut off, and the parents were taken into custody on child endangerment charges. The children were hospitalized and placed in the care of the Department of Human Services as investigators continue their work.
